Well what a few days we have had, firstly coming across one of what we think will be the industries leading ATV component manufacturer then agreeing terms to distribute their products here in the UK and Europe.
Simply we have not come across a company willing to shake up the industry who produces products to this standard - ever.
See images of their first line of components for the TRX450r '06 - '09 by clicking here or go to our website to see the upto date pricing and availability by clicking here.
Six5designs website should be live shortly so keep on checking back here to see the next line of components which are due for the LT-R450.
Now about Six5designs:
Six 5 Design, Where
style and performance collide.
X Level A Arms: Utilize LTR Spindles, Hubs, and
Brakes. The LTR spindles are more properly designed for an MX
application. X Level arms give the quad a 49 3/4" wide
stance at ride height (7" Frame to Ground). Our X level A arms are
not only wider than the stock arms. They also change the wheel base, by
pushing the wheels forward in comparison to the stock location. We do this
to lengthen the wheel base to a more optimal position for better cornering
and balance while improving traction to the rear tires. This
system is Camber Caster Adjustable using High Strength Hiem Joints at the
in-board upper pivots. This system is designed with 10.5" of
wheel travel coupled with a spot on leverage ratio allowing your quad
to soak up both small and large impacts without rolling in the corners.
Our X Level system is of the lightest on the market without sacrificing
strength. We utilize anodized aircraft aluminum for our hiem inserts as
well as our pivot pins in the lower a arms. This allows us to shave
weight while maintaining style and improving the life of the aluminum
components. Our A Arms use Frap Fully sealed press in ball
joints. By using state of the art 3d modeling software we are
able to do 100% of the design and stress testing prior to stepping foot into
the build shop. It also allows us to accurately align the upper and lower
ball joints perfectly at ride height ensuring that our system is BIND FREE
while giving the ball joints the greatest life-span possible. With our
design configuration we were able to improve every handling characteristic, as
well as build "bomber" parts that hold up to even the most aggressive
beating.
Steering Stem: Our X Level system is designed with
an updated Steering Stem configuration. With this stem configuration your
quad will have minimal bump-steer thru the travel, all the while adding to its
cornering abilities. The steering stem includes an Anodized and engraved
"Anti Vibration Handlebar Clamp".
Swingarm and
Linkage: The
X Level Swingarm/linkage kit is like no other on the market. Where
virtually every other company lengthens the swingarm to keep from wheelying,
our swingarm is slightly shorter than a stock. By going in the opposite
direction in comparison to "the norm" we were able to improve
the rear suspension with an optimal progressive leverage ratio as well as
improve the traction without the "wheelie affect". This allows
you to get off the line with less wheel spin, which means more power to
the ground. Our swingarm is designed using separate upper and lower tubes
as well as our upper "X Brace". What this gives us is a super
strong component that weighs in approximately 2.5lbs lighter than the
leading competitor. Another way our X Level rear suspension
system differs from the conventional, is our 4130 Chromoly
steel Tubular Linkage. This allows us to exceed the strength
required for a linkage style suspension system without adding extra
weight. It is also for more resilient to impacts due to its material
properties and rounded profile, meaning less surface area at the
point of contact.
As a whole our X LEVEL
Suspension System is designed to take your quad to the neXt LEVEL in terms
of handling, style and weight savings. We have been behind the
scenes in this industry for 10-plus years designing, building, and testing
suspensions systems for the best in the world. Six 5 Design is
what came to be when we stepped from the shadows.
Hope this helps
Cheers
